Edit: There is no gluten free or vegan options, so I don't think this will bode well with other members.

This clause is meaningless, given that the only requirement listed is that the pizza comes from Canada, and this would be waived by the final point in almost all circumstances. There's really nothing in the clause that would prevent the committee bringing in a plucked chicken and exclaiming "behold; a Hawaiian pizza".

@nicklambourne, care to comment on the alleged authorisation?

I think the clause is quite specific in its interpretation of a minimum requirement of a pizza. While the toppings are up for debate given the use of the term 'traditionally', the term 'pizza' is included in both segments of the clause. A chicken I don't believe would fall under the definition of a pizza at minimum, let alone a Hawaii[a]n pizza.

I might have been exaggerating with the plucked chicken example, but as you say, the toppings aren't adequately specified. As such, the clause basically boils down to "if UQCS provides pizza, then pizza must be provided".

"Financial contributor" is also distressingly vague. UQCS has in the past made donations to various charities (e.g. ATSILS and Wear It Purple in 2020). This would mean that UQCS is a financial contributor to any events those charities run in perpetuity, and so this clause would require the committee to enforce Hawaiian pizza at those events, which they'd be unable to do.

Pineapple on pizza is an abomination, I do not support this message.
