I installed the improved TC interface using the MAX31850K breakout board while installing only two of the four IC's. I don't know how the one-wire protocol works, but the sensors I installed were assigned indices 2 and 3, with 0 and 1 listed as not present. This caused the ADC readings to be used. With this patch, external TC's 2 and 3 will be used if they are present but 0 and 1 are not.
