When the vwc-check-list-item is used in menu (or select, should check), the text value is getting ellipsed, even though the items are quite wide and there is an available space.

The issue reproduces in Safari (see ask-vivid Slack channel for the picture).

This should be fixed by MWC, see this issue for tracking - material-components/material-web#2425

We decided to fix it on our side, until it is getting fixed by MWC - see this (our) Jira issue.
