React Native App Template

This repository contains a React Native template that includes various functionalities like dark mode and multilingual support. Follow the instructions below to set up and run the project.

Setup Instructions

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone <repository_url>
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd template
  3. Remove the existing .git folder:

    rm -rf .git
  4. Rename the app:

    npx react-native-rename <new_app_name>
  5. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  6. Run the app on Android:

    npx react-native run-android

Scripts

  • npm run android: Run the app on an Android device/emulator.
  • npm run ios: Run the app on an iOS device/simulator.
  • npm run lint: Lint the project using ESLint.
  • npm run start: Start the React Native bundler.
  • npm run test: Run the tests using Jest.

Additional Information

Ensure you have the following prerequisites installed on your machine:

  • Node.js (>=18)
  • React Native CLI
  • Android Studio (for Android development)
  • Xcode (for iOS development)
