Tracking: Writing Experience #53305
Comments
I'm going to tick items when there's a solution but still needs approval. |
@fabiankaegy that seems a bit outside of the base writing experience. I'm going to leave it out for now but I do think it's worth addressing. |
@annezazu no worries if you feel it shouldn't be tracked here. The reason I mentioned it for writing experience is because the writing experience when you are within a content only locked context for the list isn't great since new list items cannot be added :) but I can see how it is outside the scope of what is tracked here |
Yes! Adding in. Thanks for pointing out. |
Noticing that there are a lot of items in the todo here. Could it be helpful to get a sense of what we might be targeting for 6.6, or perhaps a level of prioritisation to aid contributors in determining what to work on? At first glance these seem pretty important:

Hi folks, |
Let's close this in favour of a new issue for 6.7: #63255 |
Writing in WordPress, whether a latest post or new page, needs to be seamless and enjoyable–the tooling should aid creativity rather than get in the way. Blocks with all of their variations, design tools, and transforms should make you feel empowered. Let’s focus on continuing to polish this experience. If you have items you’d like to have considered, comments are strongly encouraged. What’s shared here is meant to be a step forward rather than wholly comprehensive. Expect iterations and updates as the weeks go on.
