In nested blocks - especially in Site Editor like Header - an optional overview of all contents of the top block/container is viable for efficient selection and editing of certain blocks and contents.
The present state "all folded" on opening List View is good for an oversight, but editing always means selection of the right (sub-) block.
Clicking in the block in page-view does not always work or activates the right block for editing (may be, for example, the columns block above, not the clicked paragraph).
What is your proposed solution?
Adding a quick (Click) possibility in List View to completely unfold a container and display all nested blocks within.
Maybe via Right- or Double-Click, or an additional Icon like ">>" to unfold all content within.

Of course the reverse function of (re-) folding makes this feature complete.
Double-clicking the Container-block in List View would perhaps not only be the simplest and quickest solution in both directions, but also the most intuitive for users.
Thanks for opening this issue! One way to do it could potentially be to follow how the Mac Finder handles it where holding the Option key while clicking the chevron will expand all children of that item.
