Reporting a Vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability in our project, please follow the responsible disclosure process outlined below.

How to Report a Security Vulnerability

If you have found a security vulnerability in our project, please report it to us promptly. To report a vulnerability, you can follow one of these methods:

Option 1: GitHub Issue (Preferred)

  1. Navigate to the Issues section of this repository.
  2. Click on the "New Issue" button.
  3. Select the "Security Vulnerability" template (if available).

Option 2: Email (For High-Risk Vulnerabilities)

If you believe the security vulnerability is exceptionally high-risk and should not be disclosed publicly, you can contact us via email at security@wouldyoubot.com. Please use this email address exclusively for reporting security vulnerabilities.

What to Include in Your Report

When reporting a security vulnerability, please include the following information:

  • A detailed description of the vulnerability, including its potential impact.
  • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability (if applicable).
  • Any additional context that may be helpful.

Our Response

We will acknowledge your report as soon as possible and begin investigating the issue.

We kindly request that you do not publicly disclose the vulnerability until we have had an opportunity to assess and address it.
