XIA Applications and Experiences
We have demonstrated the mobility and network joining capabilities of XIA using embedded hardware using DSRC. In the video linked below, we drive a car with a DSRC on-board unit between two DSRC road-side units mounted in a parking garage. The road-side units were representing two XIA networks (ADs). We play an uninterrupted video stream as we transition from one access point to another and the stream session in transparently migrated to the new address.
