Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps:

Prerequisites

Ensure you have Node.js installed on your computer to use npm.

Also make sure you have a .env file that has firebase dependencies into the root direcgtory. VITE_FIREBASE_API_KEY=*** VITE_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=*** VITE_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=*** VITE_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=*** VITE_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=*** VITE_FIREBASE_APP_ID=*** VITE_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID=*** VITE_FOOTBALL_KEY=***

Installation

1. Clone the repo:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/FootyFriends.git

2. Navigate into project directory:

   cd FootyFriends

3. Install npm packages:

   npm install

4. Run the server:

   npm run dev -- --open

This will open up a local server instance and launch the project in your default web browser.

FootyFriends was brought to life by a group of 3 FootyFriends who love soccer:

• Xael (Vini Jr.), Kaleb (Haaland), and Anton (Jude Bellingham) Their combined efforts in design, development, and implementation have made FootyFriends a welcoming community for soccer fans with 1 trillion dollars.
