Description

Doing uv sync now updates uv.lock with pyjwt added in #581. Commit updated file and update CI to fail on inconsistent uv.lock via --locked.

Tested via e6df935: failed CI run.

Summary of Changes

Hello @ishymko, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses a dependency management issue by integrating the pyjwt library into the project's lock file and dependency groups. It also introduces a new optional dependency group for signing-related functionalities and enhances the CI pipeline to prevent future inconsistencies in the dependency lock file, thereby improving build reliability and developer experience.

Highlights

  • Dependency Management Update: The uv.lock file has been updated to correctly include the pyjwt dependency across various groups, resolving an inconsistency introduced in a previous pull request (feat: Implement Agent Card Signing and Verification per Spec #581).
  • New 'signing' Extra: A new optional dependency group, signing, has been introduced, which specifically includes pyjwt.
  • CI Consistency Enforcement: The Continuous Integration (CI) process will now enforce the consistency of uv.lock by utilizing the uv sync --locked command, ensuring that the lock file is always up-to-date and reflects the project's dependencies.

Code Review

The pull request successfully integrates pyjwt for signing and verification of AgentCard objects, and updates the uv.lock file accordingly. The implementation of the signer and verifier functions appears robust, handling both symmetric and asymmetric keys, and includes appropriate error handling for signature verification failures. The tests cover the core functionality well, including scenarios with multiple signatures. The changes align with the stated goal of fixing the uv.lock and enabling consistent uv sync behavior. Additionally, a minor code organization improvement regarding duplicate imports has been identified.
