Fan light does not consistently turn off

Just installed the Homebridge Bond plugin today and while the fan seems to work fine I am having an issue with the light consistently turning off. Turning the light on seems to always work, but I often have to continually toggle the switch to get it to turn off, and sometimes switch will become reversed (i.e. turning the light off will actually turn it on and vice versa). Thoughts?

I”m also having this issue consistently now. For some reason, when I use HomeKit (or automations) to turn off the light, it doesn’t always turn off. Then when I try to run the automation again, the light now reflects in the opposite state. Is there a setting in the plugin or the Bond Bridge itself that I could change?

Sadly the Bond Bridge has no way of tracking state. I have never found a solution for the problem. I do recall being able to go into the Bond Bridge app and correct the state, which as I recall will then reflect what is shown in HomeKit, but that is but a bandaid on the issue. In the house we just bought I have simply decided to avoid Bond Bridge altogether since our only ceiling fan that reequires an RF remote remembers its last state so as long as it was last set to how we like it I can use a smart switch to turn it on/off. Our fireplace also work with a switch so I am good. Cheers, Don
