The Blog app is a classic example of a blog website. A fully functional website that shows the list of posts and empower readers to interact with them by adding comments and liking posts.

Getting Started

Prerequisite

Go ahead and check the most recent version of each of these:

• Ruby (ruby --version)
• SQLite3 (sqlite3 --version)
• Node.js (node --version)
• Yarn (yarn --version)
• Rails (rails --version)

Clone this repository

To clone the repo run:

git clone https://github.com/abdulhamiid/blog-app.git

To access the cloned directory, run:

cd blog-app

Install the required dependecies with:

bundle install

Install npm dependencies with:

npm install

Before running below commands update config/database.yml with your local DBcredentials. Then run:

rake db:create

rake db:migrate

rake db:seed
