Is it appropriate to install utilities in the VM?

For local dev and test purposes, I may need to inspect the logs, networks, and other metrics within the colima VM.

I am not sure if I can just use apt-get install to install additional tools (e.g. iproute2). If we install such tools, would it affect the performance of colima? Would it has any unknown side effect?

@outsinre yes, you can do anything you want in the VM. It is an Ubuntu VM and you can install with apt-get.
