Searching projects is very slow: Some usability issue on the main projects page

• Searching a project by pipeline is fairly slow: On the main project list page if I want to filter by Pipeline it takes up to one minute or more to display the filtered page
• When I filter the projects list there is no visual indicator that there is a filter in place

Searching projects with a small number of projects (say ~250) is super slow. This is when searching by name, or with a pipeline or else. I am promoting this to a bug.
