`generateApi()` function no longer respects the `silent` argument/flag

Ever since the introduction of consola in PR #903, the output always has log noise which could previously be silenced using the silent argument to the generateApi() function.

EDIT: I noticed that this has been resolved in #1046. I'll close this issue
