Check comments at issue ticket.
Native RHS config values (CfgAmmo >> rhsgref_ammo_rkg3em) are
rhs_fuseTime[] = {0.3,0.35,0.4};
Add 0.3 sec delay to compensate

], 0.3] call CBA_fnc_waitAndExecute;

Result: rhs_fuseTime[] = {0.6,0.65,0.7};

This PR can affect regular throw in bad way, but I think in most cases it will be OK.

Then it's a no go and needs something less hacky/more sophisticated.

Theoretically, what can happen is that grenade will hit target before metamorphosis and disappear.
First ammo have

explosionTime = -1;
explosionEffects = "";
hit = 0.1;
indirectHit = 0;

Testing needed. Also I don't see other solution. At 0.4-0.45 it can be thrown, but do not fly as far as regular throw.
