To enable email functionality in your Django project, configure the email settings in the settings.py file. Follow the steps below to set up your email backend:
Open the settings.py file in your Django project.
Locate the section related to email configuration.
Update the following variables with your SMTP server information: ```bash EMAIL_BACKEND = 'django.core.mail.backends.smtp.EmailBackend' EMAIL_HOST = 'your_smtp_host' EMAIL_PORT = 587 EMAIL_USE_TLS = True EMAIL_HOST_USER = 'your_email@example.com' EMAIL_HOST_PASSWORD = 'your_email_password'
If you prefer to use a different email backend or service, modify the EMAIL_BACKEND variable accordingly. For example, you can use the console backend for development:
EMAIL_BACKEND = 'django.core.mail.backends.console.EmailBackend'
This will print emails to the console during development, making it easy to debug without sending actual emails.
Running the Application Now that you have set up the project and configured the email settings, you can run the application: python manage.py runserver Visit http://localhost:8000/ in your web browser to access the Club Management System. for the admin login :- username = admin password = admin
