My other PR (which you haven't merged) has removed 3.12 from the build job already: haskell/cabal#11083

It's only present in the test job, which can be trivially deleted.

haskell/cabal#11083 you mean? I think that one's not going anywhere at least until it's been discussed per @mpickering, but the container upgrade can be cherry-picked or duplicated if needed. I'll also need to check what validate.yml is doing (and why it's not hitting this…).
