Hello,

sorry, I didn't read all the docs to see if it's already explained,

but when I copy/paste code from in eclipse to gmail on mac os x,
everything is messed up since gmail tries to paste it as rich text

I found THE solution here
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2209635?start=0&tstart=0

copy ⌘C in eclipse

Then in gmail, use the shortcut
⌥⌂⌘V
which paste as plain text

Everything works fine then

That's for sharing this. I'll add it to the Tips and Tricks wiki page.

For the record, you can also use "Paste and Match Style" from either the "Edit" menu or right-click context menu. This corresponds to the shortcut ⇧⌘V (SHIFT+COMMAND+V).

Also... Eclipse (maybe just on OSX) seems to copy to the clipboard as RTF. Which seems super weird. And annoying.
