Through analysis of public B2B SaaS companies, I am aiming to answer the following question.

What should B2B SaaS startup do to grow the business:

  1. Drive marketing
  2. Hire more sales
  3. Drive consumption and customer satisfaction through hiring more customer success and support employees
  4. Build new features

Data sources:

  • LinkedIn: number of followers, number of employees on December 2021 and December 2020 (total, sales, business dev, support, engineering)
  • SimilarWeb: visits on website in November 2021, bounce rate, marketing channels split and details.
  • MRR in November 2021 and November 2020.
