###What is this? The xAPI Bootcamp is

1. a quick-start set of workshops for xAPI newcomers and
2. the show-and-tell culmination of work done by the most recent season of ADL's xAPI Design Cohort.

###Where is it? xAPI Bootcamp 2015 is located in the Alexandria, VA offices of the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (ADL). ADL is about a ten minute car-ride away from Washington DC.

###How do I get there?

• Public transportation. We are located at 1901 N Beauregard Street, Suite 600, Alexandria VA 22311. The Mark Center Bus/Shuttle Bay is a six minute walk away from ADL headquarters.
• Car. Please see Directions to ADL Co-Lab in Alexandria for specific details.
  • Visitors may park in the 1851 N Beauregard Street parking garage (through the front gate located on Highview Lane). Take a ticket from the machine and park in any space not marked as RESERVED. Bring your ticket to the ADL office, so we can validate it. Your cost will be $8.00/day.

###What happens? Day 1 (Tuesday, July 14): This day is for those who want to learn about the Experience API (xAPI) and its applications - both for those looking for introductory sessions and those willing to get their hands dirty in design or development workshops. This is a great opportunity to get your xAPI questions answered.

Day 2 (Wednesday, July 15): This day is for xAPI Design Cohort final presentations. These sessions are the culmination of work done during the third season of the xAPI Design Cohort. These presentations are opportunities to see showcased xAPI design and implementation, and to ask questions.

Day 2 will also include an all-day xAPI Collaboration Room: a place to bring your xAPI questions, projects and concerns to talk about with a rotating team of xAPI experts.

###Who is this event for? Anyone interested in using learning technology for designing or building new learning experiences.

###How much does this all cost? Nothing. We couldn't take your money if we wanted to.
