Here are some intermediate results using a dump of the shell. It shows the call of a buildscript that calls cmake and make afterwards. The buildscript cleans up everything cmake produces in order to provide comprehensible results.
There is also a testscript that calls the binary with and without command line arguments.

initramfs-framework: adjust patch to get rid of fuzz
