Hello, the API of Jellyfin and Emby seem to be similar. We officially do not support this, but a user reported, that it worked for them to se the app integration to Jellyfin for their Emby app. I cannot confirm nor deny this though. Please let us know your findings!

I'm having the same issue. Can't get Emby to work. I tried to use the Jellyfin intergration. Is there any workaround or plan to support Emby as an integration?

Hi, if Jellyfin is not working for you, there is no workaround. I think we don't have an integration for it, as their important features are locked behind a subscription and it seems much less popular than Jellyfin.

@ajnart do you think, that we should add Emby? I think Jellyfin has the same features with a better design (+ great third party apps).

I'll check again. I thought I did. It seemed like it was hanging up because emby has some libraries that plex doesn't have. Specifically live tv and one other. At that point it just quit and didn't try to go any further. I'm wondering if there's a way to exclude them in the settings and that will allow it to continue. I found a windows desktop app that sorta half ass works but it doesn't do past watch history, seems like it only starts syncing from the point the app starts. It would be fantastic if this worked since I use both emby and plex depending on where I am and different devices natively support plex but emby isn't an option.
