Quoting #2:

Bonuses :

  • Nyan Cat : Your avatar becames a nyan cat that is invicible to al kind of deathly item
  • Speed Up : Your avatar walks faster
  • Controlled Bombs : you can now control when your bombs explode

Maluses :

  • Skull head : Kills instantely. With the second idea, it would make a static killing bloc that cannot be destroyed, except by Nyan Cat.
  • Slow down : Your avatar walks slower.
  • Confusion : Keys inverted

Why not add also a "random item" that would give some random thing, good or bad ?

Idea : add a fly item : it gives wings to the player for some time, that allows him to fly over all the blocs

My own wish-list based on above suggestions:

Positive effect:

  • Bomb number increase, Flame length increase, Speed up, Life up
  • Kick bombs: player can push bombs (Pushable bombs #11)
  • Controlled bombs: player controls bombs explosion

Negative effect:

  • Speed down
  • Confusion: keys inverted (temporary)
  • Bomb shortage: impossibility to drop bombs (temporary)
  • Skull head: random negative effect. It could also have a small probability to kill the player instantly, or do a very cool positive effect not available via other powerups (e.g. every enemy has their bomb numbers and flame length reduced by 2).

Misc:

  • Random item, good or bad

Part of #5. The confusion powerup is a so-called "temporary powerup":
its effect stops when the TimerPowerup times out, or when another
tmp powerup is picked up.
