Navigate to the RDS service in the AWS Management Console
Select the RDS instance specified in the JSON file
Go to the 'Monitoring' tab
Enable 'Enhanced Monitoring'
Save the changes
Update the JSON file to include the enhanced monitoring settings

Rationale

Enabling Enhanced Monitoring provides more detailed and real-time metrics for the RDS instance, aiding in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
