Remediation

  • Navigate to the Lambda service in the AWS Management Console
  • Select the Lambda function specified in the CloudFormation template
  • Click on the 'Configuration' tab
  • Under 'Concurrency', click on 'Edit'
  • Set the desired concurrent execution limit
  • Save the changes
  • Update the CloudFormation template to include the concurrency limit configuration

Rationale

Configuring a function-level concurrent execution limit for AWS Lambda functions helps prevent resource exhaustion and ensures that the functions can handle the expected load, improving performance and reliability.
