Remediation

Navigate to the RDS service in the AWS Management Console
Select the RDS instance and go to the 'Configuration' tab
Disable 'Publicly Accessible' under the 'Connectivity & security' section
Save the changes

Rationale

Preventing public access to RDS databases reduces the attack surface and minimizes the risk of unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
