i add parenthesizes as clang said and it compiles very well, but run_test binary won't launch because of 'invalid ELF header'

Hi @WildBoarGonnaGo ,

What is your ubuntu architecture ? 32/64 bits ?

I am using Pop!_OS x86_64, which is a debian version as well and it's working perfectly on my side.
