So as the title suggest, I happen to have deleted my Huffman encoding branch, so hopefully this won't happen again...

IMO some lines are longer than the should be. Other than that, I can confirm that this compiles and runs on my local machine. The code itself also looks good to me.

This is one of the comments that I'd drop from the Python implementation.

I think we can get rid of this header, since some of it is redundant and git blame and the log is the source of truth.

@berquist I can open a PR to make these changes in the Python implementation. Unless of course Amaras wants to include it in theirs.

This also fixes a previous bug, which caused the time and velocity
values to not get printed correctly.

I was not able to prevent the preceding whitespaces, but they can
just be trimmed.

As the original implementation only returned the time and not
the velocity, the code needed to be adjusted a bit. Now it returns
the two values as an array which gets deconstructed and printed.
