GPU recommendation

I don´t have a NVIDIA GPU. Can you recommend one?

This primarily depends on your budget. If you are looking for a used/new GPU, the price range is ~60$-600$.

The DepthMap node requires a minimum Nvidia Compute Capability version is 2.0 (required for the default pipeline).
If you want to use GPU supported Feature Extraction the minimum Compute Capability version is 5.2.

If money is an issue, one of the cheapest and oldest supported graphics cards would be the GeForce GTX 460 with 1GB, 384 Cuda cores and Compute Capability 2.1 from 2011. However it´s only recommended to use such old GPUs if you can´t afford newer ones. (Note: We did not personally test such old GPUs for compatibility. Newer CUDA drivers are probably no longer supported for many older GPUs. Also the computation time will be longer than with a newer GPU)

Older models may also have TDR issues
For ~150$ one can get a still decent NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti (released in 2016) with 4GB, 768 Cuda cores and Compute Capability 6.1 for example) or the better GTX 1060 (used $120-140). GPUs with Maxwell architecture or newer should work well.
