The commit above should fix the issue. We will include it in the upcoming release of OpenCms 9.0.1.

It's not only reading the expired resources, but also the display individual resources issues mentioned in step 3 & 4.

This should also resolve the issue, where formerly not released content was not shown.
To verify that, please check out the the head of branch_9_0_x and use the gradle task 'bindist' to build opencms.

This is resolved with the latest release of OpenCms 9.0.1.
