Added value: define reusable links in a single config file. By having @metalsmith/markdown retrieve them from global metadata, they are also available for e.g. layouts to render.

Note: this is a non-exhaustive implementation of the plugin's
globalRefsoption. Just like #2934, feel free to amend/ close/ modify/ rebase or use this PR as you see fit (you could also define these links directly in metalsmith.metadata() or in a json/js/yaml file)
