After installing the latest vanilla DXVK through the launcher, magohud still reports WINED3D.
I did play before installing DXVK (don't know if it matters)

Some system info:
GPU: 1060 GTX 6GB
RAM: 16GB
CPU: i5-3570k

Mangohud is turned on by Lutris, iirc

I've installed and set it to GPlaysync (As suggested by #153), now everything worked fine, but I noticed that wine said it was setting settings; I do not recall it doing so when I initially installed DXVK.
So I decided to set it to DXVK, wine said it was configuring, and once done I removed GPlaysync; everything seemed to work just as well as it did with GPlaysync (didn't intesively test; mangohud did report DXVK now, as apposed to WINED3D)

Based on this, the launcher doesn't seem to configuring DXVK after install; only working after explicitly selecting it from the options (as done above.)

So now a similar issue has happened:

  1. The launcher uninstalled some wine version (wasn't recommended or something)
  2. So I now install a new one (as it had no wine version selected), it gets auto selected by the launcher
  3. Launcher reports: "Failed to find wine executable" (or something of that nature.)
  4. Install other version
  5. select other version, WINE pops up and talks about configuring something
  6. Select wine version from step 2, WINE pops up about configuring something again
  7. Everything just works now

I'm starting to wonder if this is related to having installed the launcher through Lutris, but that's just a guess.
