Unable to boot compiled linux on Aakash #3

Hi,

I followed the steps mentioned in "linux-on-aakash" document, to checkout, compile and create a bootable SD card.

The u-boot is successfully loading the kernel image, but ends up in kernel oops. The output is as follows:

I would suggest you to use the latest source from
https://github.com/linux-sunxi/linux-sunxi
You can use the same config file which is mentioned in the documentation.

In that case, I don't have instant suggestions. Though we can post this
error in kernel mailing list or raise issue in sunxi kernel link which I
mentioned before

We came across similar prob when setting up Ajit sir's device. be sure to
use the same kernel version mentioned in the docs. also please follow FS
instructions strictly

Can you share the uImage, which is working in a device. This will help in
cross-checking the health of the hardware.

Please generate the uImage after setting the Kernel Hacking => Kernel low-level debugging functions (in menuconfig).

I recommend you to use your own script.bin file.

To extract script.bin from your tablet, connect the tablet using USB cable, and type adb shell
Once you are inside the shell, you need to mount your 'nanda' partition. To do this, first create a directory in /sdcard/

mkdir /sdcard/nanda

and then mount /dev/block/nanda partition to it

mount -t vfat /dev/block/nanda /sdcard/nanda

and copy it somewhere in /sdcard

cp -v /sdcard/nanda/script.bin /sdcard/

eventually pull it in your local system

$ adb pull /sdcard/script.bin

not copy this file to first partition of SDcard(FAT partition)

Note: delete previous script.bin before copying new one.
