We will transition to PySide6 as soon as (a) the Python 3.10 support in PySide6 is done (PYSIDE-1436) and (b) basic PyPy support lands in PySide6 (PYSIDE-535).

3.10 is now supported in pyside6. Waiting on pypy support seems unnecessary given pyside2 doesn't support it either.
