Tooltip override styles

I am unable to override the color and font size of mdtooltip i am reviewing your plunker https://plnkr.co/edit/?p=preview and adding styles like .mat-tooltip{ color:red;}

Looks like you forgot to fork and save the plunker. Try increasing the specificity of your css selector.

Ah ok. You can add your styles to a global stylesheet, but that will apply to all tooltips. If you're needing to only affect certain tooltips, it looks like your only option is to wait for #4601

Thanks for your reply but i would like to override the styles without using !important is it possible
