md-checkbox (no ink) is selects space after it when you spam click

Hello,
I was browsing the docs again and came across a small bug. If you click the md-checkbox (no ink version) several times it selects the space right after it. This only happens with the no ink version.

It's also only happening in chrome to the no ink version (I tried the latest firefox and safari on os x). Also adding "-webkit-user-select: none;" seems to fix it but I didn't look into it much.
