At AnitaB.org, we envision a future where the people who imagine and build technology mirror the people and societies for whom they build it. We connect, inspire, and guide women in computing, and organizations that view technology innovation as a strategic imperative.
Our social enterprise supports women in technical fields, as well as the organizations that employ them and the academic institutions training the next generation. A full roster of programs help women grow, learn, and develop their highest potential.
AnitaB.org helps women make significant contributions to technical fields. Our programs and awards highlight the accomplishments of women technologists, while our events and communities enable women to establish their peer networks.
We engage our community by contributing to open source, collaborating with the global community, and learning/enhancing our coding skills. We are committed to providing a safe, positive online community for our many volunteers that offer their skills, time, and commitment to our projects.
In order to engage with the community, you can sign up on AnitaB.org Open Source Zulip.
A primary goal of AnitaB.org Open Source is to be inclusive to the largest number of contributors, with the most varied and diverse backgrounds possible. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion (or lack thereof).
