There are two AWS collections. AWS related modules and plugins supported by the Ansible Cloud team are in the amazon.aws collection. AWS related modules and plugins supported by the Ansible community are in the community.aws collection.
Net-new modules should generally be added to the community.aws collection. Over time, some modules will be migrated from the community.aws collection to the amazon.aws collection. This process is managed by the Ansible Cloud team.
The wiki space for the AWS working group is used for group coordination documentation related to AWS that should go into the main Ansible repository. Community documentation should go in the main working group pages.
