Summary of Changes

Hello @Aarebecca, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates the project's TypeScript configuration to target an older ECMAScript version for compilation. This change ensures broader compatibility with environments that may not fully support newer JavaScript features, affecting how the compiled output behaves at runtime.

Highlights

  • TypeScript Configuration Update: The tsconfig.json file has been updated to change the compilerOptions.target from ES2020 to es6. This adjusts the JavaScript version that TypeScript will compile down to.

Code Review

This pull request updates the TypeScript compilation target from ES2020 to es6 in tsconfig.json. This change appears to be aimed at improving compatibility by targeting an older JavaScript version, which aligns it with other build configurations in the project. My review includes a suggestion to use the more explicit ES2015 value instead of the es6 alias for better consistency and clarity.
