Add “Copy Logs” Button to Task Log Viewer in Airflow 3.0 UI

Feature Description

Airflow’s Task Instance Log page currently displays logs but offers no one-click way to copy them. Users must manually select and copy text, which is error-prone—especially for long logs or when searching for specific patterns. Adding a “Copy Logs” button would allow users to copy the entire log (or filtered portion) to their clipboard with one click.

Proposed Solution

UI Changes

• Add a “Copy Logs” icon/button next to existing log-controls (e.g., alongside the 'Wrap' button).
• Button tooltip: “Copy full log to clipboard”.

If you're looking to build something programmatic, you can hit the API to retrieve logs!

@jroachgolf84 good catch – tbh my main use case is i've been highlighting task log messages a million times in order to copy and paste into and LLM and say "plz fix"

I want to be able to quickly get the log in my clipboard to past into a chat window, I don't think the download logs would be super helpful for my use case cause I'd have to download, open it up, copy that file. I just want a quick and easy way to copy the log message. I also end up highlighting log messages a lot to send in messages over Slack when debugging async with others. For me, it would be extremely helpful to have a better way to copy log messages from the UI than trying to highlight things in my browser.

I still think we should add the Download Logs button first. And I think that specific use case would be better handled with custom UI plugins in 3.1.0

I second this request to add Copy function to Logs on UI. It's highly needed and super useful and very easy to implement.
