Currently, Airflow only supports Redis Sentinel for the Celery broker via [celery_broker_transport_options]. This PR adds the equivalent [celery_result_backend_transport_options] section to support Redis Sentinel as the result backend, including sentinel_kwargs and master_name configuration options.

With these changes i was able to use redis sentinel for result_backend for celery.

  • Please follow ASF Code of Conduct for all communication including (but not limited to) comments on Pull Requests, Mailing list and Slack.
  • Be sure to read the Airflow Coding style.
  • Always keep your Pull Requests rebased, otherwise your build might fail due to changes not related to your commits.
