[Parquet Decimal] Do we has any plan to support short decimal layout, such as decimal64? #33650

from this pr:#15244
I see that arrow writer has supported the smaller physical type for short decimal.
Do we has any plan to support short decimal type in arrow to achieve better performance when writing and reading and reduce the memory usage，such as support decimal64 in future?
