I am trying to build a Docker image that includes installing Apache Arrow from the source, but I am encountering an error related to the re2 library.

We have now bumped the vendored version of RE2 in #48011 to a newer one which is compatible with alpine - feel free to reopen this issue if it's not resolved though.
