Summary of Changes

Hello @stankiewicz, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request resolves a data loss bug within the SolaceIO connector. Previously, a race condition could occur during late finalization of checkpoint marks, causing the system to acknowledge messages that were not intended for that specific checkpoint, leading to lost data. The changes ensure that each checkpoint mark processes a unique set of messages, thereby preventing over-acknowledgment and safeguarding data integrity.

Highlights

  • Data Loss Prevention: Addresses a critical data loss scenario in SolaceIO where late finalization of checkpoint marks could lead to incorrect message acknowledgments.
  • Checkpoint Mark Isolation: Modifies the UnboundedSolaceReader to ensure that each CheckpointMark operates on an isolated set of messages, preventing older checkpoints from inadvertently acknowledging messages that have already been processed or are part of a newer checkpoint.
  • Test Coverage: Introduces a new test case, testLateCheckpointOverlappingFlushingOfNextBundle, to specifically validate the fix for late checkpoint finalization and ensure proper message acknowledgment behavior.

as a follow up, I think the error below could be spammy. You could change it to happen once for the checkpoint, and maybe just a warning.
