Motivation and Context

Updates dependencies (where possible) in preparation of the next minor release.

Description

• apply any in-range dependency updates
• major updates of test dependencies
• major upgrade to execa@5.1.1
• regenerate package-lock.json

Testing

All automated tests still pass.
