What is the problem the feature request solves?
There have been some breaking changes in DataFusion since the 47.0.0 release and we need to see what the impact is for Comet.
- ScalarFunctionArgs now requires logical Fields with lifetime specifiers (Add Extension Type / Metadata support for Scalar UDFs datafusion#15646)
