Shared configuration between workflows and pipelines

Hello All,
In my case I am checking the RDB connection at the workflow level then call a pipeline in the next action to load some data.
if I want to change the connection, I must check each and every component within the pipeline and change it manually.
I wonder whether is it possible to pass the RDB connection metadata object at the workflow level (CheckDBConnection Level) to the pipeline inside it to avoid manual changes? (we can say also reference the RDB connection used at the workflow level in the transforms at the pipeline level)

Almost all (if not all) of the relational database transforms and actions support specifying the connection name as a variable.

Set the connection name you want to use in your workflow as ${MY_CONNECTION}, and use ${MY_CONNECTION} in the transforms instead of the hard-coded connection name.
