This is a duplicate though of the following:
#8683

I've already marked for 9.1.x.

In fact, to get 9.1.x working, I've created a couple PRs for 9.1.x and listed what needs backporting here:
#8812 (comment)

This PR isn't needed, the real PRs have the appropriate versions set on them.
