Team & Roadmap

Proposal

Frame is a cross-platform Ethereum provider interface built on Electron. Frame interfaces with Ethereum network nodes and signature providers (such as a Ledger or Trezor) to create an OS-level provider that can be used with any dapp. Frame was created to be a user-friendly way to securely and transparently interact with dapps and the Ethereum network. Frame hopes to lower the barrier of entry for users wanting to participate in the Ethereum network while creating a seamless provider interface for dapps to consume.

Hey @floating after having reviewed your request for funding and PoC I'm pleased to tell you that your application is candidate for funding. The next step is the review of the application by Placeholder.

I've merged Frame v0.0.2 into master. This version includes dapp permissions, local settings, a browser extension and various UI updates. Pre-built app versions of Frame will be made available soon for use on testnet only.

This looks great, I tried it out and really liked it. I also like the architecture and tech choices so far, and the suggested roadmap. Green light from my end!

hey @floating! This is just to say: welcome to nest :) Your request for funding is approved.

Next steps: let's have a call to coordinate the details to wrap up this process and make sure you have everything you need to start/or continue your work under the nest umbrella. Asking you about dates/times in the Arachat right now :)

We would love to apply to the Nest to help us build WalletConnect. We see a lot of similarities in the goals of Frame.

We would love to collaborate or make a separate proposal. What do you think is best?
